Our Wedding

Unlike most love stories, theirs began at the gym. A mutual friend had already mentioned that he’d been asking about her, so when he finally came over to ask "Have you seen the curl bar?" she was not surprised. Those quick chats between sets turned into longer conversations, and before long, they were basically timing their workouts just to run into each other.Their first official date was on December 6, 2022, at a local restaurant. A little over a month later, on January 13, he asked her to be his girlfriend. That same night, after a few drinks, he confessed that he loved her and was going to marry her.A little over two years later on July 5th, 2025, he made good on that promise. On the day of the proposal, they spent the day in Galveston fishing before heading to Galveston Island State Park to clean up, getting ready in the car for what she thought was just another date night. Before dinner, he took her to the docks at the yacht basin where he got down on one knee and proposed. It was an intimate moment that perfectly captured their journey: unexpected, a little spontaneous, and completely full of love.They could not be more excited to start this next chapter together.
